In our beautiful home in Champagne sur Loue we let guestrooms with breakfast
or half board (Chambres et tables d'hôtes). Our gîte is also
available for your self catering needs.
Bhukti Mukti is situated in the midst of a varied and beautiful landscape near the river Loue. The Val d'Amour is a gentle undulating valley surrounded by rolling hills, deciduous forests and vineyards. All around, the Jura reveals her beauty, with panoramic views, caves, cliffs and rivers with waterfalls and rapids.
It's a joy to hike and bicycle in the area, to paddle a canoe or swim in the Loue. It's even possible to hang glide off Mount Poupet (850 m). Other popular activities include fishing, playing golf and mountain biking. Nature here abounds with unusual birds and plants; the air is clean and the water is clear.
The famous Saline Royale (a salt and architecture museum) in Arc et Senans, a UNESCO world heritage monument, is definitely worth a visit. As well as the picturesque towns of Dole, Salins les Bains (spa), and Arbois (wine tasting), there is also Besançon with her citadel; all within a 30 km radius.
Every season has its' own attraction so we are happy to welcome you all throughout the year. In winter there is skiing and langlaufing within an hours drive. In spring, the rivers swell from the melting snow and the waterfalls are extra spectacular. Bhukti Mukti is also suitable for singles and groups up to 10 people. The minimum rental period is for three nights.
For many people, taking a holiday is the way to slow down and relax; but for some it takes a while before that real holiday feeling sinks in. For those who recognize this, and like to start their holidays with a relaxed feeling, Bhukti Mukti offers a special option: LaStone therapy. For guests who want to come for a retreat, we have reserved 5 weeks in the off season. Bhukti Mukti can also accommodate groups during this season; we have a multipurpose hall (30 m2) located in the 200 year old wine cellar. In holiday periods this 'cave' serves as a recreational space.
Room rates including linen and breakfast, range from 25 to 33 Euros per person per night. The rate for the gîte, including linen and homemade bread for breakfast, ranges between 21 to 30 Euros per person per night. For children up to 12 years old, we have reduced prices (approx. 50%).
